Home has always meant more than four walls. After living in four different states and moving 13 times throughout my life, I've experienced firsthand the excitement, uncertainty, and emotions that come with buying, selling, and starting over. Those experiences shaped not only my understanding of real estate—but also my understanding of people.
Today, I'm proud to call Hickory, North Carolina home. As an Executive Broker with Realty Executives of Hickory, I've built my business around one simple belief: A home should support the life you're living now—not the life you lived years ago. Whether you're buying your first home, relocating, upsizing, downsizing, or helping a loved one transition into the next stage of life, my goal is to provide clarity, confidence, and compassionate guidance every step of the way.
Real estate is rarely just about property. It's about life's transitions. For many of my clients—especially older adults and their families—a move involves much more than putting a sign in the yard. It may include years of memories, difficult family conversations, downsizing possessions, coordinating trusted professionals, and making decisions that affect the future.
That's why I earned both my Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation and my Certified Relocation & Transition Specialist® (CRTS®) certification. These advanced credentials provide specialized training in helping older adults and their families navigate the practical, emotional, and financial aspects of later-life moves.
My role extends beyond traditional real estate. I help connect clients with trusted resources, simplify complex decisions, and create a thoughtful plan that allows them to move forward with confidence.
Although I began my real estate career in Hickory without an established network, I've been honored to become one of the area's top-producing agents. Clients choose me because they value honest communication, Strategic marketing, Skilled negotiation, Professional guidance, and a calm, compassionate approach during major life transitions. My background leading sales organizations for Fortune 100 companies taught me that exceptional service isn't accidental—it's intentional. Every client deserves to feel informed, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout the process.
One of the most exciting chapters of my career is the development of the Senior Life Transition Alliance—a collaborative network of trusted professionals dedicated to helping older adults and their families navigate every aspect of life's transitions. Because no one professional can do it all. When families have access to experienced attorneys, financial advisors, senior living specialists, organizers, movers, healthcare professionals, and real estate guidance working together, everyone benefits.
My vision is to make Hickory and the surrounding communities a place where families know exactly where to turn when life's next chapter begins. When I'm Not Working...You'll usually find me enjoying time with my husband, Mark, traveling to visit our children and grandchildren, volunteering in the community, playing pickleball or golf, or exploring everything that makes Western North Carolina such a wonderful place to call home.
Helping people find the right home has always been rewarding. Helping them navigate life's next chapter—that's become my purpose.
